Lamella precipitator
Purpose:
1, One of the most commonly used in the field of solid-liquid separation device.
2, Widely used in: industrial wastewater treatment, surface and ground water purification.
3, Usually used for flowrate ¡Ü40 m/h or less.
Theory:
Lamella precipitator is based on ¡°shallow water theory¡±, that is, the efficiency of precipitator is in direct proportion to effective precipitation area. It has no theoretical relation to depth.
Accordingly, adding some sheets in precipitator can increase effective precipitation area. Sheets bevel with the horizontal plane, so the accumulation of their projected area in horizontal plane belongs to effective precipitation area. (As shown in figure above)
The adding of sheets lowers the Re number flow of the precipitator and further improve the environment of solid-liquid separation.
Principles:
1. Flocculated wastewater enters water-distribution room.
2. Water can be equally distributed into cant board through the bottom and sides of water-distribution room, thus an equal water distribution without blocking can be realized.
3. Reverse flow in the side, clean water flows up and flocculent solidity precipitates in the cant board and slips down at the cant board area.
4. The water-collection pores above the cant board collect the clean water to the rinsing sink without the horizontal mobility of clean water course, thus the knock-out zone has no dead angle and turbulent current.
5. The flocculant solidity can slip down to the collecting bowl along the cant board.
Advantages:
1. high-efficient and intensive. The length of cant board is 1.5m, 1.5 times of regular ones, so its larger floor area can provide more effective precipitation area.
2. An equal water distribution. There is no dead angle and short flow in the precipitation area.
3. The intensity of the cant board, which has an 8~10cm distance between plates and 4~6mm at the back can free it from blocking and collapse.
